So very little this week that is new on the market worth seeing in my opinion. But if you did not have a chance to visit me at 1680 N. Mar Vista in Pasadena last weekend, I will be there this weekend too! The same goes for 2116 Layton in Pasadena which is that Spanish Architectural Jewel Box you definitely should see.

They designed the house to take advantage of every viewpoint and the setting is sublime! This home is of newer construction and you can tell that they spent a lot of money building this place. The problem with design is that it goes in and out of fashion so the kitchen and baths are dated, but the other elements stood the test of time! It is one of those homes that feels like your on vacation when you're there!

Wow…..is all I can say! The owner is a designer and this home is a mini showcase house! Todays style may not be your thing, but I love all the attention to detail in this remodel. I really appreciate how she melded the character of the home with the modern finishes! The kitchen has been opened up for a more open flow, but then you have the cozy breakfast nook that reflects the charm of the home. I like how the backsplash goes all the way up to the floating shelf also made out of the same material. Don´t miss the tall cabinet in the nook….open it and you see they also put countertop in their….now that´s attention to detail! The bathrooms are gorgeous and the ADU is the cutest one I have seen in a long time! Definitely worth visiting this weekend!

Whitefield is not my favorite street, because itś in that pocket that can be a little mish moshy. Still it is a darling looking little craftsman and a great price so I am sure it will be so busy this weekend! I love the original woodwork on the inside and the built-in cabinet in the dining room is so sweet. Not a fan of wood instead of tile in the bathtub…but a relatively easy fix. Hurry because this one will sell fast….I am sure!
